Town of Davie Declares July 11, 2006 Regent Bank Day
Bank celebrates 20 years of relationship banking.
Davie, FL (PRWEB) July 12, 2006
Regent Bank, a locally-based community-focused commercial bank, is pleased to announce that the Town of Davie has declared Tuesday, July 11, 2006 Regent Bank Day in observance of the institution's 20th anniversary milestone. The Bank has been celebrating throughout the year in a series of Broward and Palm Beach County events. Festivities have brought out hundreds of South Florida business and municipal leaders, customers, neighbors, beneficiaries, friends, and other members of the community. The Bank will be serving cake in all offices on that date.
"This is a tremendous milestone for us and we are pleased and exceedingly grateful to all those who have contributed to our growth and success over the years," said Cyril "Sid" Spiro, chairman and president of Regent Bank. The Bank focuses on small to medium size businesses and professionals, and works together with its customers to help build stronger communities. Regent Bank is a traditional bank that differentiates itself by offering the personal banking experience to customers of all sizes rather than solely to those with the largest balances.
Regent Bank Day
"We were very pleased to proclaim July 11th Regent Bank Day, as it is a very important institution in the Town of Davie," said Tom Truex, mayor of Davie. "The citizens of this town have benefited greatly from the personal touch they have provided over the last twenty years. Additionally, Regent Bank has been extremely active in the community as an institution as have the people who make up the institution, from the president and bank officers to employees and trustees."
In supporting its full range of innovative products, Regent Bank banking professionals personally make calls to verify wires or to notify customers when accounts need special attention, hence, the slogan: Today's Banking in Yesterday's Tradition. All decisions are made locally.
Hurricane Wilma
In keeping with its commitment to its customers, Regent Bank was able to open six of its seven offices the day after Hurricane Wilma struck South Florida in 2005. Through careful planning and determination to meet its customers' many post-hurricane needs, Regent Bank was able to anticipate the manifold needs that had to be met and fulfill them successfully.
"When we opened our doors we knew we were delivering an excellent mix of products and services to the marketplace," said Mr. Spiro. "It is extremely gratifying to us that our strategy of putting our customers first has helped us to not only thrive but to facilitate the growth of our customers along with us." The Bank's intense focus on customer needs has led to its expansion from its original site in Davie to six other offices in Broward and Palm Beach counties.
